About the couple.
We met Bekah and Blaine a little bit ago at the Salt River for their engagement session. These two had traveled from Florida in search of a unique desert vibe for their engagement photos. So, of course, we just had to bring them to our favorite “secret desert” for the perfect shots! We love this spot because we know the landscape and precisely what the light will be like, plus from experience, we know the photos will turn out fabulous! Not to mention, it’s typically just a few wild horses and us out there, so it’s perfect.
With each click of our shutter, we discovered Bekah and Blaine had met in college, and it took just a little over a decade for Blaine to pop the question, which Bekah immediately accepted! These two lead hectic and exciting lives, yet in all the noise, not once have they lost sight of each other or how bright their future is together. I remember thinking, It’s like that line from that old 80’s song, “The future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades,” however, I did not break out in song! Nobody wants that!
As the session winded down, we got a few more incredible shots as the sun dipped down behind the mountain. It was indeed a fantastic engagement session, and we couldn’t have been more excited to deliver them their photo gallery. These two have so much heart and admiration for each other, not to mention chemistry; let’s just say they made our jobs incredibly easy that night!
