We are so excited to share last weekend’s Cathedral Rock Engagement Session with you today! We’ve been looking forward to it ever since we met Jackie and Jacob Zooming with me from the great state of Texas! These two met online during the height of the pandemic. After months of Zoom dating and endless phone conversations, they decided to meet! They realized that what they had was worth masking up and meeting face to face. As Jacob said, “She was worth the risk.”
Last year Jackie planned a birthday trip to Sedona with her girlfriends, and sadly the pandemic canceled it. But, this year, birthday weekend and newly engaged this trip was happening! We met these two brave souls at the base of Cathedral Rock, more ready to climb that mountain than we were. When we asked them about how they liked Arizona so far, they said, “Well, we bought a house in Mesa!” It sounds like they love our fine state and; Jackie got the best birthday present of all time!
Jackie and Jacob effortlessly scaled the face of Cathedral Rock dressed to the nines; however, Ben and I, not so much. The view from the top was stunning. We had just the right amount of wind and a warm, beautiful glow to backlight our photos. Jackie and Jacob looked incredible, as you’ll all see from their photos below. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to document our amazing couples’ love for one another.
Jackie and Jacob, we can’t thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of your journey. We are so happy for you to start your new lives in a new place together under one roof. Thank you so much for allowing us to document your beautiful Cathedral Rock Engagement Session. You were a dream to work with and, we will go anywhere with you.
