Kirsten and Ross’s Royal Palms Resort Wedding was as visually stunning, as they were.
We love the beautifully maintained grounds of the Royal Palms Resort in Scottsdale. They are green and perfectly manicured while representing Arizona at its finest. Being local to the area, not only did the crisp October air signify the end of a rainy Monsoon season. But it also graced us with one last dash of rain on their wedding day.
The love story
Ross and Kirsten had moved to San Francisco weeks apart, albeit it was their first time out with a mutual friend, and as the stars would align, it was an attraction at first sight for the two of them. Without reservation, Ross asked for Kirsten’s number that day, texted her that night, and they’ve been together ever since!
Royal Palms Resort Wedding
Our couple wanted their wedding at the Royal Palms Resort because it felt like a magical home away from home, especially since their guests were visiting from parts of the US, Australia, and the UK. Unquestionably to Kirsten and Ross, the desire to combine worlds and celebrate their love with all the people they love was priority number one!
The twist of the day was that Kirsten’s parents chose the Royal Palms Resort. However, Kirsten and Ross fully trusted them, so they committed right away – site unseen! It’s a known fact that Kirsten and Ross love architecture and value nature/open spaces. Our couple describes their favorite venue feature as the overall ambiance. Of course, you can’t forget that having Camelback Mountain in the background is the perfect backdrop for your husband and wife portraits!
Royal Palms Wedding Venue in the Palmera Salon
Kirsten and Ross enjoyed spicy margaritas while they mingled and embraced their guests before entering their stunning reception in the newly remodeled Palmera Salon. Following cocktail hour, the newlyweds were serenaded by a live musician as they warmed in their seats by the beautifully restored fireplace.
Lastly, the staff at The Royal Palms served a beautifully plated dinner curated by the couple for their guests; after all, the food at the Royal Palms was one of their favorite things about the venue. As a result of their attention to detail, they made this evening memorable for everyone present that evening.

It’s an incredible opportunity to leave at the end of the night and feel connected to a couple and location.
